Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your username, email address, and display name. If you sign in using a third-party account (such as Google or Facebook), we receive basic profile information from that provider — typically your name, email address, and profile picture — as permitted by your settings with that provider. We do not receive or store your password from these providers.
Comments
When you comment on videos, we store your display name, the comment text, and a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address (not the IP address itself) used solely to prevent spam and abuse. Comments are tied to your logged-in account.
Business Directory Listings
If you submit a business listing, we collect the information you provide, such as business name, category, location, and contact details, in order to publish and display your listing.
Cookies & Usage Data
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it. If you install Ethiepic as an app on your device (via our Progressive Web App feature), your device may store a small amount of data locally to support offline functionality.
